What kind of fishing will I be doing?

How far does the boat go out?
On 5- and 6-hour trips the boat goes about 20 miles offshore. On 8 hour trips or more, the boat goes anywhere from 20-30 miles offshore depending on where the fish are biting.

What are the departure times?
Departure Times:
6-hour 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
5-hour 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
8-hour 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
10-hour 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What discounts do you offer?
Senior Citizen (62 & older): 10 %
Snowbird Special: January 1st - February 28th. Please contact us for discount details.
Riders: 5- and 6-hours - $34.00

What is maximum capacity?
Swoop I and II are Coast Guard approved for 49 passengers. We take no more than 40 fishing and 5 riders per trip.

What is included in my price?
* Fishing license
* Friendly, experienced captain and mates
* All rods and reels
* All bait and lures
* Fish cleaning
* All instruction necessary to catch fish
* All safety gear

What do I need to bring?
* Food and drinks for the day - no hard alcohol
* Camera / Video
* Warm jacket
* Rain gear - even if it looks nice, bring it along
* Sunscreen

What if I might get seasick?
You can take one Dramamine before bedtime and one tablet an hour before departure. HarborWalk Marina also has a stock of Motion Eaze, which is a liquid you put behind your ear even after you get sick.

What if I only want my group on the boat?
We offer private charters for $300.00 per hour for up to 49 passengers (40 fishing and 5 riders per trip).

Do I get to keep my fish?
Yes! You keep what you catch. When you get back to the docks your mates will hang your fish for a picture, and clean and bag your fish.

What time should we arrive?
Please arrive at the booking booth 30 minutes prior to departure.

What if I want to tip the mates?
15%-20% of the trip is customary.
