On 5 and 6-hour trips, the boat goes about 20 miles offshore. On 8-hour trips or more, the boat goes anywhere from 20 to 30 miles offshore depending on where the fish are biting.

It takes up to an hour and a half to get to first fishing spot. We are one of the fastest party boats in Destin Harbor, if not the fastest.

Yes! You keep what you catch as long as it’s in season and the legal size. When you get back to the dock, your mates will hang your fish for a picture. For 50 cents a pound, we will clean and bag your fish.

We use 6. Penn Reel, 80 lb test mono. 16 ounce lead, and the circle hook must be used by law.

We use cut bait, mostly squid.

Braided line cannot be used on the boat when you bring your own gear.

You can take one Dramamine before bedtime and one tablet an hour before departure. HarborWalk Marina also has a stock of Motion Eaze, which is a liquid you put behind your ear even after you get sick.

- 5-Hour Trip: 2:30 – 7:30 p.m. (available mid-March to mid-Labor Da)
- 6-Hour Trip: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- 8-Hour Trip: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- 10-Hour Trip: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

SWOOP II is Coast Guard approved for 49 passengers. We take no more than 40 fishing.

We offer private charters for $475 per hour for up to 45 passengers (40 fishing per trip). Charters are available, at that price, from November 1st to May 31. Private charters, June 1st – October 31st are the price of a full party boat trip for the amount of time requesting.
